OK, finally a new episode of THE BATMAN. And one with a bit of hype as Brandon Routh, star of SUPERMAN RETURNS, guest starts as the episode’s villain, John Marlow -- The Everywhere Man.

Seems that this, “Everywhere Man” has harnesses some sort of “quantex power” that allows him to kinda clone, or replicate, himself at will. Thus, he can create an army of Everywhere Men to carry out a variety of dastardly deeds. Of course, it’s up to The Batman and *sigh* Robin to save the day.

THE GOOD: The Batman using his detective skills to discover exactly what The Everywhere Man is up to -- and how he’s able to do it.

THE BAD: Plenty. Robin’s annoying one-liners -- no, make that Robin period (Actually, he’s OK when he’s just Dick Grayson)…Commissioner Gordon appearing for, like, 2 seconds…not enough Alfred…and the somewhat predictable outcome.

Even though many Bat-Fans have criticized THE BATMAN, I myself liked it. With that said, except for this season’s premiere and maybe the “CLAYFACES“ episodes, I’m raking this season below average at best. Maybe it’s because of the addition of Robin and I’m a fan of the solo Batman. Nevertheless, I’m putting it on the writers and producers of the show for making Robin so irritating -- he basically shows up doing flips and spouts off something that makes one’s eyes roll.

Oh well, there’s still plenty of episodes left this season -- enough time to get it in gear.
