Heath-Joker Memorial T-Shirt Update Posted by: Jett Friday, January 25, 2008 As of now, it seems that a "Heath-Joker Memorial T-Shirt" -- at least originating from BOF -- ain't going to happen. I will say that BOF has received THOUSANDS of emails in support of this "Tribute Tee at the Premiere" movement. Props to all of you that really care. I took a look over at EBAY and was flat-out appalled by the stuff that’s up for sale there -- mostly by people simply wanting to cash in on this tragedy. The last thing in the world that I’d want anyone to think is that BOF is trying to make a buck off of this. Unless I get the blessing from my friends at Warner Bros., Mr. Chris Nolan and the TDK crew, or Heath’s family, I’m going to put this on hold for now. BUT... ...there’s nothing keeping me from strongly encouraging all of y’all from making your own tribute shirts and wearing them to the premiere of TDK this July. In fact, I am telling y’all to do it -- or buy any legit/official “Heath-Joker” gear and represent -- when THE DARK KNIGHT opens at your local theater -- or “cinema,” as many of you all say. (Hey, I’m not making fun. If I was writing to only Texans, I’d say: “Wear that Heath-Joker shirt when y’all go see THE DARK KNIGHT at the show.” All you Texans know I’m right, don’t y’all?) Anyway… Bat-Fans, let's unite. I say wear a “Heath-Joker” T-shirt -- of your own choosing -- when you first go see TDK when it opens in July and let’s honor the heck out of this great actor that was taken from us way too soon.
