So, would you love to see Batman get the live-action TV series treatment?

If your answer is "yes," all I can say is don't hold your breath 'cause it ain't going to happen anytime soon.

Via an interview with IGN, CW president Mark Pedowitz says that The Dark Knight is still off-limits when it comes to live-action TV...

"At this time, [there are no plans for Batman on TV]. And regarding your next question, regarding is Batman going to make a trip to [ARROW’s] Starling City, they’re not in the same state."

While this may disappoint some of you, I totally get why Batman on TV is off the table. Batman is Warner Bros. #1 live-action film asset and they don't want to water down the character's appeal with a TV show. Plus, they also believe Batman is so special, that he should be reserved for the silver screen when it comes to live-action adaptations. And frankly, I totally agree. However, I've long been in favor of a TV crime action/drama set in Gotham; though I'm not so sure how long such a series could last with featuring The Batman himself.
