If only I had an extra $4.2 million lying around...
The original Batmobile used in the 1960s BATMAN TV show starring Adam West, sold at auction Saturday (January 19, 2013). The Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. in Scottsdale, Ariz., revealed the selling price but says the winning bid of $4.2 million, but not the name of the winning bidder.
