Time-Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes -- speaking to investors about the DCEU's films -- suggests that Ben Affleck's solo Batman film will be a Summer 2018 release. "Ben announced a Batman movie [that] heís going to direct, star, write...I think itís a year and a half out," said Mr. Bewkes.
I still think 2019 is more likely, but you never know. If Mr. Affleck's solo Bat-flick is indeed released in the Summer of 2018, you have to think production on the film (including pre-production) will begin in early to mid 2017 -- and that's not too far away. And keep in mind that Affleck's WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION -- which he's directing/starring -- has a release date of 2018 on IMDB (though that doesn't mean anything, really).
