Well, it’s going to be called THE BATMAN after all.

Unless it isn’t.

“I think is going to be called THE BATMAN…at least that’s what we are going with now” said Affleck to the I might change it, I think that’s about it right now, that’s all I got,” he said in an interview with the ASSOCIATED PRESS.

So if he changes his mind due to the continuing work on the script, it’ll be titled something else.

Unless it isn’t.

“We’re working on the script, the script is going well, I’m really excited about it,” said Affleck.

Personally, I like it and have long wanted “The Batman” to be used as a title for a Batman film. Here’s hoping he doesn’t change it.

Unless he does. ANYWAY…

While doing press for THE ACCOUNTANT, Affleck told COLLIDER.COM why he chose Deathstroke as the villain for THE BATMAN (which he is also co-writing, directing, and starring in). “I just had an instinctive feeling that he would match up with [Batman] well,” explained Affleck. “You know, I’m a big admirer of that character as well, especially in the New 52, the way that they did Deathstroke, and I thought that it could work.”

Cool. But I'm not convinced that Deathstroke is the main, nor the only, villain in THE BATMAN.

Unless he is.

So what do you think of the title of the film and Deathstroke as the villain? Post your thoughts in the comments section below!
