While guesting on THE RICH EISEN SHOW, Joe Manganiello -- who will play Slade Wilson/Deathstroke -- tells the host when Ben Affleck's THE BATMAN starts filming. "Uh, no," Manganiello said when Eisen asked if the film had wrapped. "We will start at some point this year, it looks like."

At some point this year?

While it's still 2016, I doubt filming begins at some point during the next three weeks. The actor has previously said that filming will commence during the Spring of 2017, soI'm sure Manganiello meant 2017 since 2016 is almost over.

If filming does begin early next year, I believe it's highly likely that THE BATMAN will be released in July of 2018, since AQUAMAN, has now been moved from that slot to October of 2018.
