New Animated Batman Series Coming? Posted by: Jett Monday, February 18, 2008, 9:04 AM CENTRAL According to an "unconfirmed" report over at WORLDSFINESTONLINE.COM, the classic team-up comic book THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD -- has been recently resurrected by DC -- could be the next Batman-focused animated series from Warner Bros. Animation. THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD animated series is said to center around The Batman teaming up with a different DC superhero in each episode. The series will also will have no ties to BATMAN: TAS or THE BATMAN. Fall 2008 is said to be the target date of the series premiere. JETT'S TAKE: I'm all for a new Batman animated series, but isn't THE BATMAN sort of doing the DC superhero team-up right now? I'm guessing that if this comes to pass, the look and tone of the series will be completely different from past Batman animated incarnations.
