SYNOPSIS: As Batman uncovers a deranged plot with far-reaching tentacles that touch some of the city's most elite citizens, he finds himself facing off against his newest and most fearsome foes: Dollmaker and his twisted family of killers!

EDITOR'S NOTE: Due to time constraints caused by business travel, I’m going to piggyback this month’s review of DETETCTIVE COMICS off of BOF‘s sister site, MODERN MYTH MEDIA.

Tony Daniel continues his ever strengthening run on DETECTIVE COMICS with issue #4.

The last we saw Batman he was tied up as a human puppet surrounded by a few “Joker” styled friends. Issue #4 doesn’t exactly begin right where #3 left off, but instead we get a flashback to a few scenes that happened before Batman became entwined in the steel cable trap. We see an interrogation method that could only be described as a “swirly” which is something I never quite pictured The Caped Crusader using, but it appears to do the trick to help with verifying the Dollmaker’s hideout...
