OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Terry McGinnis is in for the fight of his life as he faces off against Hush for control of Neo-Gotham. But when the true identity of Hush is revealed and Bruce Wayne is targeted, Terry's life –- and Batman's –- will never be the same!

How will Batman defeat an enemy that knows him better than anyone? That sounds like the premise for an awesome story, right?

That was what I thought when I finished reading the previous issue. “A former Batman protégé” was revealed to be Hush, and it seemed like all bets were off…

Until they cheated us.

This issue of BATMAN BEYOND was disappointing to say the least. The writing definitely took a drop in quality, the art was sloppy and inconsistent, and the plot "jumped the shark,” if you will.

Nothing notable happens in this issue. We find out Catwoman's identity -- which isn’t really important. The aforementioned Hush is actually a rogue clone of abovementioned Batman sidekick created by Amanda Waller and Cadmus.

WTF?!

So someone SO close to Bruce Wayne was cloned repeatedly and he had NO idea? I don't buy it. But I guess it needed to be done to play it safe. I believe had there not been an upcoming monthly series, that would not be the case.

Oh and by the way, Bruce cries.

Really.
