I really never understood why the
BATMAN BEYOND animated series got so much grief from some fans. It was a well-produced show that was very respectful of the Batman mythos. Plus, it was just plain good! Anyway, Terry McGinniss is coming to the DCU beginning with a
BATMAN BEYOND miniseries which starts in June. Here's the cover of issue #1 by Dustin Nguyen...
It will be written by Adam Beechen with art provided by Ryan Benjamin. Here's Beechen's decription of the miniseries via DC's THE SOURCE BLOG...
“The dark future of the legendary animated series comes to the DCU in a six-issue miniseries, as Terry McGinniss, Bruce Wayne’s young successor as Batman, faces his deadliest foe yet — a mystery murderer from the Dark Knight’s past! Old faces return, new allies and enemies step into the light, and the partnership between Terry and Bruce — not to mention Terry and Bruce themselves — might not survive!”
Sounds good to me! Look for BATMAN BEYOND -- and BOF's reviews of it -- starting in June.
