A young girl who witnesses a murder needs to be protected by only David and Kia because there is corruption among the police force of Tinasha. The father of the murder suspect, Ancil Marksbury, wants David and Batwing to be killed.
DETECTIVE COMICS #6
The Joker’s presence has inspired a gang known as the League of Smiles. One member, Rodney the Torch, gives Batman a tip on where to find the League. In the backup story, Ogilvy, who is known as Emperor Penguin meets with associates of the Penguin and murders one of them after a disagreement.
Before the wedding of Barbara and the Joker begins, Batgirl attacks Joker’s henchmen but her brother, James Gordon Jr. arrives and he offers Joker a trade in that he let his mother go for Barbara. After waking up from unconsciousness, Barbara is met by the Joker who has something hidden in a bloody, silver platter.
The Joker places several obstacles for Batman to overcome in Arkham Asylum. After seeing his allies defeated and realizing that he needs to give into the Joker in order to save them, Batman sits on an electric chair and is in an unconscious state. In the backup story, the Joker shows the Penguin and Two-Face what is on the silver platter.
BATMAN AND ROBIN #16
Robin is forced to fight his father who is under the influence of the Joker’s toxin. Robin tells Joker he’d rather die than do what the Joker wants and Batman’s chest explodes and Robin is intoxicated with the Joker’s gas. Joker tells Robin the man he fought was not his father and reveals the silver platter.
Batwoman and Wonder Woman arrive in the middle of a chaotic Gotham City. Medusa is able to call upon her mother, Ceto, in the ocean and she appears.
BIRDS OF PREY #16
The Birds along with new member, Strix, who used to be a Talon with the Court of Owls, investigate the Basilisk weapons dealer’s release from federal prison. Black Canary lets out a Canary Cry that causes destruction to the city causing concern as to what is wrong with her.
Catwoman is possessed by the power of the black diamond she is stealing but is able to fight out of the Black Room and against the power of Eclipso.
While battling the Joker at Haly’s Circus, Nightwing sees that everyone who is apart of Haly’s Circus is under the influence of the Joker’s toxin. After Nightwing is knocked unconscious, he awakens to find the Joker with a silver platter.
RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #16
Kid Flash, as ordered by Roy, finds the cure for the Joker toxin that has infected several drifters who pose a threat to the Outlaws and the Teen Titans.
BATMAN INCORPORATED #7
Talia Al Ghul, the Heretic and Leviathan continue to wreck havoc on Gotham City by overpowering Batman Incorporated. Damian makes the decision to go save his father.
BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT #16
The Mad Hatter is revealed to be behind the abductions of people in Gotham City, as Batman must stop the twisted villain.
In Batman Incorporated #7, Batman Incorporated battles Talia and Leviathan while Damian opposes the Heretic.
A new story arc involving the Mad Hatter begins in Batman: The Dark Knight #16.
Batwing learns that justice is not welcome in the country he protects through his physical encounter with the Sky Pirate in Batwing #17.
Batman finds the League of Smiles in Detective Comics #17.
Batgirl has a conflict with James Gordon Jr. in Batgirl #17
The “Death Of The Family” story arc concludes in Batman #17.
Batman and Robin need to protect Gotham City in the week preceding the 300th anniversary of the city’s founding in Batman And Robin #17.
The storyline involving Batwoman, Wonder Woman and Medusa ends in Batwoman #17.
