Michael Keaton Talks About The Batsuit

Michael Keaton is not “My Batman on Film Batman.” That designation (currently) belongs to Christian Bale. Regardless, I will forever have a soft spot in my Bat-heart for both MK and BATMAN ’89 – the latter, don’t forget, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this June.

God Gosh – how time flies! I can’t believe that B89 is going to be 25 years old – and I’m going to be 25 years older since I first saw that movie the Summer I graduated college – this year! ANYWAY…

Here’s a video of Mr. Keaton doing press for ROBOCOP talking about wearing the Batsuit – and how he used the fact that it sucked to wear in his performance as The Dark Knight…

This B89 poster has hung in my office for over 20 years!

I know that Warner Bros. has pretty much done all that they can do as for as honoring B89. And I know that fans don't want to buy yet another copy of the film on Blu-ray or DVD that's nothing more a repackaging of previous B89 releases with a “Happy Anniversary B89” stamp on it. But you know, they should do something, right? A panel at San Diego Comic Con this Summer perhaps?

(Thanks to @MatteoWilliam for the heads up!)
