For months now, Aaron Eckhart has been steadfast with his answer when asked if Harvey Dent/Two Face could return in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES...

No, he's dead.

In fact, he's gone as far to say that he was told point blank that he wasn't in the film when he himself asked director Chris Nolan.

Now Eckhart seems to be changing his tune. Or IS he? Check out the following video via CBS NEWS...

Is Aaron being coy, or simply messing with the interviewer (and fanboys everywhere)? I'm betting on the latter.

Look, if Chris Nolan had planned for Two Face to return in TDKR, I don't think he would have told Echhart to say that he wasn't returning as publicly as he has been doing. And if Aaron was going to show up in a cameo, he would not suddenly change his tune -- he would have simply maintained what he's been saying now for months.

Bottom line, he's jacking with us. Regardless, I'm sure the cries of "Harvey Dent is Dead, but Two Face LIVES!" can be heard on fanboy message boards worldwide.
