It’s been almost a year since
THE DARK KNIGHT was in theaters – raking in billions of dollars and setting box office records. Nonetheless, it’s
still receiving accolades! The latest: The Saturn Awards.
Presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films -- which promotes genre entertainment – TDK won for best action/adventure/thriller, while trophies also were awarded to Christopher and Jonathan Nolan for writing, the late Heath Ledger for supporting actor, and Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard for music. The film also won for its special effects.
