JL Pushed Back Yet Again Posted by: Jett Thursday, February 14, 2008, 6:42 AM CENTRAL Yesterday, the latest JUSTICE LEAGUE rumor had it that Batman and Superman wouldn't be in the movie. It now seems that there will not be a JL film at all. MOVIEHOLE.NET is reporting (via Australia’s HERALD-SUN) that any JL film will not start until at least 2010. The cast -- which did not have their contracts renewed -- have moved on to other projects and probably most importantly, Warner Bros. simply realized that this film just wasn't coming together properly. Translation: Warner Bros. came to their senses and saw that this thing has disaster written all over it. Thank goodness! Now we can look forward (hopefully) to live-action films starring Green Lantern and The Flash, as well as a third Nolan-directed BATMAN and another SUPERMAN.
