Actor/rapper Common -- who was cast as Green Lantern John Stewert in JUSTICE LEAGUE MORTAL -- tells MTV MOVIE BLOG that the fate of the film is up to the fans. "I would love to say it will go through,” Common, who was cast as John Stewart, the Green Lantern, told MTV News of where he stood with “JLA.” “I pray and hope that it will. Keep speaking it for real [fans], and it’s gonna happen."

JETT'S TAKE: Common, I hate to tell you this, but if you want the fans to decide the fate of JL, their decision isn't going to be to your liking. Bottom line, very few fans are interested in this film. Just go take a spin around the Net and check the various websites, message boards, and polls and they'll back up my claim. I have never seen a film that had such little support amongst its core fanbase as this JUSTICE LEAGUE project.

They don't want another, alternate Superman or Batman. They would like to see (myself included) solo Green Lanter, Flash, and Wonder Woman films.
