And the BvS fallout continues.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER is reporting that producer Charles Roven (THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY, MAN OF STEEL, BvS) will move from a producing role on future DCEU films to "executive producer" going forward.

This news comes as a bit of a surprise to yours truly mainly due to the Mr. Roven’s longtime relationship with Warner Bros. and the fact that he served as one of the main producers on Chris Nolan’s DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY. On the other hand, Mr. Roven was the top producer on two DCEU films that underperformed critically, at the box office, and amongst fans: MAN OF STEEL (which I loved) and BATMAN v SUPERMAN (which was…well…”OK” at best for me). I’m guessing the BvS thing is one of the reasons for this move.

The BOF Podcast (Vol. 2/Episode 30): Big DCEU Shakeup at Warner Bros.

On a personal note, I’ll say that during my coverage of THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY, I got to meet and interview Mr. Roven on a few occasions and found him to be a very forthcoming and nice man.

Thanks to my friend and BOF PODCAST co-host Rick Shew for the heads up via two tin cans and string (which, I believe, he uses for our show).

What do you all think of this news and the DCEU shakeup at Warner Bros.? Post your thoughts in the comments section below!
