DECU Shakeup at Warner Bros. Posted by: Bill "Jett" Ramey (Follow @BATMANONFILM)

Frankly, this was a LONG time coming.
Per THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns will co-run the newly created DC Films at Warner Bros. Pictures and will be given the task of course-correcting the studio’s DC Comics films.
The reason? The underperformance of BATMAN v SUPERMAN at the box office, poor critical reaction, and the fact it did not resonate with fans.
The trade says that Mr. Berg – who already worked on BvS, SUICIDE SQUAD, and the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE – will also serve as a conduit to Ben Affleck. Sources tell BOF that Mr. Affleck will have a significant role behind the camera in any film his Batman appears; including creative control over his solo Batman films. Affleck is already been made an executive producer on JUSTICE LEAGUE.
Geoff Johns Johns will report to DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson, while Berg will report to Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman.

This is GREAT news! I don’t know how anyone can still argue that BvS was a “success” for Warner Bros. Bottom line: BvS was a big disappointment for the studio, for critics (no, critics weren't "out to get" BvS), and many fans. It was clear that changes needed to be made going forward with the DCEU and I’m glad it’s happening as opposed to saying “All’s OK” and staying with the status quo (i.e. Zack Snyder in charge of the DCEU).
