Via, MLIVE.COM, a BvS extra talks a bit about the film...

"I know comic books, and slowly became a fan of Zack Snyder. I think there are going to a few little things (in the film) where fans are going to be like 'What?' But I think they'll understand later. And I think sometimes nerds take things too seriously, you know, when it comes to these movies. This is coming from a half-nerd, a half-geek."

"...I think with BATMAN v SUPERMAN, based on the Frank Miller stories, I think it's going to be a great movie."

"...I think fans should expect to be blown away (with "Batman v Superman") and damn near have tears in their eyes."

What's interesting here is the guy saying that BvS is "based on the Frank Miller stories." I wonder if he's just assuming based on things he's read about the film on the internet. On the other hand, perhaps the scene he was involved with was very THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS-ish. We know that BvS does indeed have some Frank Miller/RETURNS in it, but how much? Back in 2010 at San Diego Comic Con, BvS director Zack Snyder told me personally that "when Chris [Nolan] is done with Batman," he wanted to do an live-action film adaptation of THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. And he didn't just tell me as he's said this publicly to others as well. So I've got to wonder if Zack felt like BvS is his chance to tell that story? Not a straight-up adaptation, but a film with more than just a smidgen of Miller's RETURNS in it. Click on the link provided for the full interview. (Thanks to "Justin" for the heads up!)

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters on MARCH 25, 2016.
