Hans Zimmer Solves BvS Batman Theme Predicament

Hans Zimmer is a tremendously loyal dude.

But he's also a man with a plan, apparently.

As you all know, Mr. Zimmer scored "The Dark Knight Trilogy" for director Chris Nolan. He also scored MAN OF STEEL for Zack Snyder - though Mr. Nolan helped write the film's story and served as one of its producers.

Now he's about to go to work on the MAN OF STEEL "sequel," BATMAN v SUPERMAN.

So, how does the cat who created (along with James Newton Howard) one of the greatest Batman musical themes in the history of Batman on film come up with a new one for Batfleck?

The answer is...HE DOESN'T.

Here's how Mr. Zimmer handled his quandary via CBR...

"You know something? I have agonized over [creating a new Batman theme]. I agonized over it, so much so that finally, I went, I donít want to betray what Chris, James Newton Howard and I did. And so I asked Zack [Snyder] if it would be OK if I called a friend in. And Iím going to be working with Junkie XL, who really is a great friend. He just finished the MAD MAX score. I said to him, 'You take care of Batman. Iíll do the other guy.' And Zack loved that idea. Itís a way out."

I can dig it - especially since JXL did a great remix of Elvis Presley's "A Little Less Conversation" a few years ago.

And I LOVE Elvis...and Batman.

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters on MARCH 25, 2016.
