Check out a few excerpts from a new BvS interview with Ben Affleck from NEWYORKTIMES.COM...

On how Batman/Bruce Wayne is portrayed in BvS...

“[Bruce Wayne's] living in this gray zone. He’s more broken, not slick. He’s filling the hole in his soul with these increasingly morally questionable nighttime excursions — fighting crime as well as by being this playboy. You wonder, is this healthy?”

On directing a solo Batman movie in the future…

“If there comes a point that I want to do BATMAN, and there’s a script and it works, then I’ll do it.”

I don’t know Ben Affleck personally, but I’ve always liked him -- I've yet to understand why this guy gets so much sh*t. I have been down with the casting of him as Batman from the get-go and I’ve LONG been on record saying I wanted him to direct a Batman film. Hell, I thought he’d make a great young Batman back in the late 90s when an adaptaion of YEAR ONE was in development (go check the BOF archives if you don’t believe me). Looking forward to meeting this dude. ANYWAY...

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. Snyder directed from a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S.
