You were a HUGE part of my high school life. You have been a part of my personal music history well over 30 years – ever since I saw your music video for “Little Red Corvette” on MTV back in 1983. I’ve owned your music on vinyl, cassette, CD, and digitally. Even though I was a rocker, I "got" you. You were rock, funk, pop, and, really, a bit of everything. Now, one of my one musical regrets in life is that I never saw you in concert – which, ironically, my wife and I planned to do on your latest tour. You were a musical genius – one of the very few – and I’m grateful that I got to witness your greatness. You also were a Batman fan and significantly contributed to one of the greatest moments of pop culture history in BATMAN '89.

R.I.P. Prince Rogers Nelson. I honor you, Prince, here on BOF. - "Jett"
