Nicolas Cage almost played Superman, portrayed the title character in
GHOST RIDER, and he’s in the upcoming comic book-based flick,
KICK ASS. So what else would the self-professed superhero geek like to do when it comes to comic book films? “I would love to play a supervillain,” Cage told
MTV. When asked if he’d like to do so in a Chris Nolan
BATMAN film, Cage said he’d be cool with it. “Yeah. If they call and invite me, I’d do it. Certainly.”
Keep in mind that there’s really nothing to this other than Nic Cage saying he wouldn’t mind playing a Batman movie villain -- just like every other actor in Hollywood. Regardless, I think Cage would make one hell of a Crazy Quilt -- don’t you?
